Megan Smith, PT, earned her Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 1997. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on Cardiac Rehabilitation from Texas A&M University in 1993. During the past 22 plus years, Megan has worked in multiple physical therapy settings, not limited to the following: outpatient (pediatric, adult, geriatric, and orthopedic), home health (pediatric and adult), skilled nursing, nursing home environment, inpatient care, and wound care.
Megan has been a writer and a contributor of rehabilitation articles for Rehabmart over the past 20 plus years, since its inception.
When Megan is not acting as Director of Human Resources for Rehabmart or contributing information for Caregiver University, she is maintaining an active license as a physical therapist. She enjoys working out, reading, clean eating, cooking and baking, and volunteering for her local church. Her passion is to help others improve their well being.
